We all have deep within our ancestral memories a time when we could turn to our elders, our villages healers, or simply look around our natural environment and find
medicines, foods, natural fibers, dyes, and shelter
all around us.
Today however, with all of our food and medicines being shipped in from other places, we’ve lost touch with the herbs, stories, and wisdom keepers of our local bioregions
The solstice herbal gathering will bring together local herbal wisdom keepers and medicine folk on a sustainably designed farm stewarded by our dear friend Angelo Minno. There will be magnesium rich spring water on tap available for everyone to drink and for the children to swim in. There will be animals of all types to pet – from goats to sheep to pigs and chickens, ducks and geese, you may even find a cat on your lap if you sit still long enough 😊
In collaboration with our friend and amazing host Angelo Minno, we are presenting the Solstice Herbal Gathering at the Enchanted Garden in Hawthorne, FL! We will be offering nourishing herbal infused oxymel sodas and farm/foraged to table food.. There will be work trade and limited camping available, so register today to get your spot!
